The LIONS Club Calvia decided quickly and unbureaucratically to make 2,000€ available to the flood victims.
To ensure that the aid reaches the needy more quickly, payment was made to the local cultural association GRANOTS & SOPES (www.granotsisopes.cat). This association will pass on the funds to the needy in the next few hours without any administrative effort.
The cheque was handed over directly by LIONS Club President Adrian ELKINSON. He could inform himself in detail about the impact of the natural disaster and assured further support.
